4th of July
We traveled to the coast to Papa and Grandma's beach house for the fourth of July weekend. The weather steadily declined after our arrival on Thursday, so we didn't have as much beach fun as we would have liked but overall it was a good trip. I'm sure I jinxed us by packing three bottles of spray sunscreen (LOVE that stuff). :)

Two boys SO happy to play in the sand!
Waiting for the parade to begin.
Mastering the hand and flag wave.
Landon's favorite moments of the parade, the firetrucks...
and the "calahopter" (Coast Guard Helicopter)
Waiting for the fireworks to begin at the beach. He hated sitting the whole time in the stroller waiting for the show to begin and he was adamant that he didn't need a hat or a blanket. Once the big show started he was mesmerized. We thought he'd be scared by the noise (as we were so close) but he LOVED the fireworks! Yes, the boy who won't play with remote control cars because they are "too woud" and whom I always have to hold while Ira vacuums.

Looks like fun!! We miss you!
Your Landon is getting so tall! Aren't you glad its "shorts" season. I'm afraid we'd be going through pant sizes way too quickly.
Funny, not only do our boys have the same name, we have that exact stroller too!
Sorry the weather turned bad, but sounds like you had a great time.
Looks like you had fun. Too bad the weather wasn't as nice as you had hoped.
Hopefully we'll see you soon!
