Foul Ball
This past Saturday we took Landon to his first sporting event; a Seattle Mariners baseball game. We had a very long car ride because of downtown traffic getting to the game. Landon was apprehensive but intrested for the first ten minutes or so, but the instant the baseball game improved in our favor and the cheering and screaming began, so did the terrified crying. He was so scared in fact he gestured for a woman sitting behind us to hold him. Ira and I took turns taking him out to the walkways around the field and he enjoyed running around and watching the trains, but when we tried to bring him back to our seats he'd start crying again. We just couldn't torture him any more and left after an hour and a half!

You poor little guy! I'm so sorry it didn't go well. Your cousin, P didn't like loud noises much when she was your age either. Her first Easter, she spent crying anytime she was around the whole Z family! We sure can talk!! Imagine how she would have screamed at a baseball game! Tell Mom not to worry, it won't be as scary in time. Last weekend, P went to a large, loud, concert event and loved it! :)
In the meantime, baseball on tv is cheaper and you get much better seats! (I like the trains better than the game, myself.)
