First Picnic

Sunday we went to Ira's annual company picnic. It is held at a private park and campground with cabins owned by the company that Ira works for, on a beautiful lake. The picnic is quite the yearly event for the company and the employees' families and includes; a barbecue lunch, swimming, carnival games, blowup toys, bingo, sno-cones, all the ice-cream you can eat, you name it!

The picnic and park are a very special time and place in our hearts, as it is where Ira and I met for the first time (as my Father is a retired employee of the same company) five years ago! We also were married there three years ago in September. It was so nice to get to bring our son to the place where his parents met and begain their relationship and ultimately married. He enjoyed moments of the picnic but we are looking forward to the coming years when he can run around and swim and have fun on the rides and games.
